I recently received a letter from a grateful patient named Helen who had come to Roper St. Francis in an emergency. She said, "I was recently taken to St. Francis Hospital for a life threatening event. I remember nothing about the first two days, yet I know I was treated with great care as the staff worked to pull me through. Everyone I came in contact with acted with what I believe was ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty. They saw me through a very difficult and frightening time with compassion, care and a great sense of humor."
